As part of our ongoing work with the Isle of Man Economic Development, we were briefed to position and promote the island as a place to live and work to key target markets and sectors within the UK, Ireland and Worldwide.
Ideas
We wanted to show the island as a place of opportunity, one that promotes a better work-life balance and highlights its inherent pioneering spirit. This was done through the creative idea of “Make your one day, today” challenging our audience to bring forward their dreams and their “maybe one day” aspirations.
The centrepiece of the creative was a series of day-in-the-life videos of people who have moved to the Isle of Man. The idea was to tell real stories, showcasing the best of island life and challenging our audience’s current perceptions. They focused on a range of business sectors in order to target various markets.
We backed this up with a detailed toolkit to show how to use our creative assets and campaign hashtag #LiveTheDream. We promoted the campaign through digital activity aimed to generate awareness and showcase the opportunity of a lifetime.
