To assist with marketing and communications activity, developing and implementing an integrated campaign and brand to support delivery of the Great Place: Lakes and Dales programme.

The Lakes & Dales are beautiful places, but the region and the communities that live there are under threat.

There are currently 44% fewer 16 - 34 year olds compared to the national average, with younger generations moving away to places seen as more affordable and with better career opportunities.

Without more diverse and dynamic individuals living there, the culture, economy and distinctiveness of the area has no future. Putting arts, heritage and culture at the core, we were briefed to create a campaign and brand to appeal to younger people and market the Lakes & Dales to them.

In the Lakes & Dales you can have it all. Prospects. Support. A better work-life balance. It’s a place where you can Live More & Do More, #LiveMoreDoMore.
We created a brand, designed to stand-out when looking through social feeds. A distinctive typeface with vibrant colours that will appeal to our target demographic.
Along with bespoke digital activity, our main output was an offline and online toolkit to help partners, businesses, events and initiatives use the campaign in order to raise the profile of Lakes & Dales through a unified communication strategy.

They look at each challenge creatively, for our lockdown campaign they empowered young adults to tell their lockdown stories through the perfect channel of TikTok, which powerfully communicated the resilience of our region during the pandemic.
